MUSEUM SERVICE COUNCIL (MSC)

Requirements:

• Complete training for the appropriate service area
• Join the Friends of the Neuberger Museum of Art (Friends Membership fees and benefits are listed in the membership brochure)
• Pay modest annual MSC dues ($5. - $20. depending on which council/committee you join)
• Make commitment to serve on a regular basis
• Provide a pleasant welcome to all Museum visitors
• Be informed and knowledgeable about the Neuberger Museum of Art, its collection, exhibitions, programs, special events, and activities

Benefits:

• invitation to the annual MSC Tribute Luncheon
• ree admission to selected lectures after giving 150 hours of time in the previous calendar year
• use of the Museum's Research Room
• Purchase College ID card after 6 months probationary service period (provides privileges at the Purchase College library and free admission to many museums worldwide)
• participation in MSC educational field trips to area museums and galleries
• voting privileges in MSC officers' elections
• opportunity to serve on MSC committees (including various tour-related and audience development projects)
